We all love our precocious pups and spending time out and about with them. But that almost inevitably makes for the mess we need to clean up after. These compact holders are made to clip on wherever is most convenient for you. They take very little yarn so are perfect for using up those leftovers from all of your cotton projects. Make them for yourself, for friends and/or as an addition to your craft market inventory.
YOU WILL NEED:
Worsted weight cotton yarn (approx. 10g/ .4oz)
4.5 mm crochet hook

CROCHET TERMS:

ch – chain
hdc- half double crochet
BLO- back loop only
TO MAKE:
MC, ch 1
Rnd 1: 8 hdc in MC. Join, ch 1. (8hdc)
Rnd 2: 2 hdc in each st. Join, ch1. (all rnds from 2-10 will have 16hdc)
Rnd 3: Working in BLO, hdc around. Join, ch 1. TURN
Rnd 4: Hdc around. Join, ch 1. TURN.
Rnd 5-6: Hdc around. DO NOT JOIN. Join, ch 1. TURN (rows 5-7 make the hole through which bags are drawn.)
Rnd 7-8: Hdc around. Join, ch 1. TURN.
Rnd 9: Hdc around. Join, ch 1.
Rnd 10: Working in BLO, hdc around. Join, ch 1.
Rnd 11: (hdc 1, ch 1) x8. JOIN. Fasten off and weave in end.
Drawstring: ch 50. Fasten off. Weave through spaces in rnd 11.
Add carabiner clip to desired location.
NOTE: Rolls are easier to insert with taped end still intact.
